Iniimbestigahan na ng Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) ang ilang volunteer na bumbero na sangkot sa umano’y insidente ng pagnanakaw ng alak sa isang branch ng Landers sa Quezon City.
Ang pagnanakaw ay kasabay umano ng sunog na sumiklab sa naturang supermarket sa Barangay Pasong Putik noong Miyerkoles, Enero 28.
“While they were conducting a firefighting operation and a mapping operation, some firefighters there took items, specifically the liquor. So, we are now conducting an investigation,” pahayag ni BFP spokesperson Fire Superintendent Anthony Arroyo.
“There are no indications that that group, whoever is involved there, had the identity of BFP personnel. We can assure you of that,” dagdag pa niya.
Ayon sa BFP, 30 volunteer firefighter groups ang tumugon sa sunog at kasalukuyang iniimbestigahan upang matukoy ang mga sangkot.
Posible umanong magsampa ng kaso at bawiin ang mga certificate of competency ng mga mapapatunayang sangkot na bumbero.
